If you mean 10 symptoms of pancreatic cancer, the symptoms can be subtle and are often caused by other conditions. They don’t necessarily mean someone has cancer.
10 symptoms to know
- Yellowing of the skin or eyes (jaundice)
- Dark urine or unusually pale stools
- Persistent pain in the upper abdomen or back
- Unexplained weight loss
- Loss of appetite or feeling full quickly
- Nausea or vomiting
- Persistent indigestion or bloating
- Changes in bowel movements, including greasy or floating stools
- New-onset diabetes or difficulty controlling existing diabetes
- Unusual tiredness or weakness
Don’t panic: Most people with these symptoms do not have pancreatic cancer. However, persistent or unexplained symptoms—particularly jaundice, unexplained weight loss, or ongoing abdominal/back pain—should be evaluated by a healthcare professional.
If jaundice appears suddenly, or you’re experiencing severe abdominal pain, repeated vomiting, fever, or confusion, seek prompt medical care.
