How to remove the dark circle around the faucets

If you mean the dark/black ring or circle around the base of a faucet, it’s usually caused by hard-water deposits, soap buildup, mold/mildew, or old sealant.

Try this:

  1. Soak a cloth or paper towel in white vinegar and place it around the dark area for 15–30 minutes.
  2. Scrub gently with an old toothbrush or non-scratch sponge.
  3. For stubborn stains, make a paste of baking soda + a little water, apply it, and gently scrub.
  4. Rinse thoroughly and dry.
  5. If the circle is still there, it may be mold under the silicone/caulk or a damaged finish. In that case, the old sealant may need to be removed and replaced.

Avoid abrasive steel wool or harsh scouring powders, especially on chrome or brushed faucets, as they can scratch the finish.

If you send me a photo of the dark circle, I can tell you what it most likely is and exactly how to remove it.
