If this is one of those viral posts that says “if you always sleep on your right side, you should have…”, the missing part is important. There isn’t a general medical rule that people who sleep on their right side must do or take something.

A few evidence-based points:

  • Side sleeping is generally fine. The best position depends on comfort and individual conditions.

  • Pregnancy: Side sleeping is commonly recommended later in pregnancy, with the left side sometimes suggested for comfort and circulation, but occasional right-side sleeping is not generally a reason for alarm.

  • Acid reflux: Some people experience fewer symptoms sleeping on the left side than the right.

  • Heart conditions: There is no universal requirement that everyone with a heart condition sleep on a particular side; individual advice depends on the condition.

  • Sleep apnea: Side sleeping can sometimes reduce airway obstruction compared with sleeping on the back.

If you paste the rest of the sentence/article or upload a screenshot, I can identify exactly what it’s claiming and tell you whether it’s medically supported.
